Cub Scouts at St James is for boys in grades 1-5. All are welcome...friends from other schools are also welcome to join.

Meetings are at St. James in either the gym or in the after school room.

Pack 608 Meetings dates for 2007-8: All meeting times are 7pm. Meetings are either in the gym or after-care room. Sep 27 (Parent's meeting concurrent with first Pack meeting), Oct 18, Nov, 15, Dec 20, Jan 24, Feb 21 (Pine Wood Derby...starts at 6pm...DATE TENTATIVE), Mar 13, Apr 17, May 15. Dates are subject to change.

The Mohawk 500 is open to all Scouts regardless how they placed in their pack race. They can enter as individual families and do not have to come asa den or a pack. They can show up the day of the race and enter then or register early. The registration form can be found on the council website:www.glaciersedge.org, go to scouting resoures, click on district pages, click on Mohawk District,click on Mohawk 500 entry form. Race Date is Sat., March 8th Thorstad Chevrolet, 1702 S. Park Street, Madison, weigh-in is from 8:00 to 9:00 am, racing to follow.

CONGRATULATIONS to our PWD top finishers, Mitchell, Jorgenson, Jonathan Grinde and Daijon Linear. All cars will displayed at school as soon as the Silent Auction is completed. Thanks for racing!!**

Pack Administration

• Advancement: Leaders/parents please let me know when any of the boys complete requirements for advancement or achievement badges. Call me if you have problems/questions. I will ensure we get the awards and that the boys are recognized for their efforts. Also, please let me know if there are any questions, problems or concerns regarding uniforms.

• Dues: Annual dues are $10 plus $12.00 if you want Boys’ Life magazine. New Scouts need to fill out a registration form and pay Mrs. Eshun.
